With over 300 years of combined experience in banking, our highly trained professionals have served over 100 financial institutions in Oklahoma, Kansas, and North Texas. Bob McCormack

CEO & President


Bob has been in banking since 1962 and has over 59 years of professional experience in the banking industry. During his 21 years with an independent community bank, he was involved in all areas of operations, audit, accounting, planning, data processing, investments, and asset/liability management.

Bob has attended Cameron University, the Graduate School of Banking, Intermediate School of Banking, Oklahoma School of Banking and taken various AIB courses. Bob enjoys working with community bankers and helping staff grow and develop their careers. In his free time, Bob enjoys fishing, trap shooting and playing music. He performs at local nursing homes, farmers markets and church events. Three things you didn’t know about Bob are that he has trained horses and bird dogs, fell in a well, and chained a school bus to a tree - there’s plenty of stories there - just ask Bob.

Sharon Smith

Executive Vice President


With 25 years in banking, Sharon excels in asset/liability management and strategic planning. She's passionate about problem-solving for clients and volunteering for causes like the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and community church events.

Sharon's life mantra: Always be kind, as everyone battles their own struggles. She cherishes time with family, singing, and reading. She believes success comes from hard work, reliability, kindness, and a bit of luck. Did you know? Sharon has an intriguing history – Her great, great grandmother is Mary Surratt who was the first woman executed by the US federal government for her role in President Lincoln's assassination.

Laurie Bethune, CRCM

Executive Vice President


Laurie has over 20 years of professional banking experience. She earned a B.B.A. specializing in Finance from Cameron University. She has served as BSA and Compliance Officer and has experience within all areas of the bank.

Laurie enjoys sharing knowledge she’s received from working in many different areas of banking. She earned the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) in 2018 and uses her education to help others to expand their areas of knowledge and continue to learn about the various systems and processes within the banking industry. Laurie keeps busy when she's not working -- active in many volunteering capacities and serves as President of the Central High School Board. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her kids in their numerous activities, fishing, gardening, and other outdoor activities.

Crystal Wright, CCBCO

Client Audit Manager


Crystal has over 9 years banking experience. Her banking experience has been as an internal auditor and compliance associate. Crystal graduated from Cameron University with a BBA. She has also completed her ICBA Certification and earned the Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer designation.

Crystal enjoys building relationships with clients. She is excited to be providing services to bankers that allow them to focus on their jobs and communities. Her diverse background makes her an asset to MAi and our clients! When she's not helping bankers, Crystal loves spending time with her family, cheering for her sons at wrestling tournaments and baseball games, or relaxing by the pool.

Kip Ackley

Compliance Specialist


Kip brings over 30 years of banking experience in bank operations, lending, and management. Kip has served as a teller, lender, Branch Manager, Chief Credit Officer, Senior Security Officer, Senior Compliance Officer as well as serving on the Board of Directors.

Kip is a graduate of Cameron University. Kip is active in his local church, involved in 4H and FFA activities with his grandchildren as well as riding performance quarter horses. Kip has been married to his wife Paula, for 41 years, has two grown children with five grandchildren.

Brandi Horn

Senior Audit Associate


Brandi has over 20 years banking experience. She earned a Master’s in Science Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Her experience has been as a Lending Compliance Officer, Vice President and CRA Committee Chair.

Brandi earned a Master’s in Science Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She’s a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. Brandi received a full softball scholarship to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Her current career goals are to receive the CRCM designation and increase her knowledge of all banking compliance regulations. Brandi has volunteered her time at the food bank and John 3:13 Feeding the Homeless Mission and is interested in helping at the animal shelter as well. She enjoys spending time with her children, especially watching her oldest daughter play softball, going to the lake, watching movies, horseback riding, ATV riding, and coaching softball. But don’t fly with Brandi, she’s terrified of flying!

Linda Weise

Linda has over 33 years of banking experience in operations, financial services, lending, and supervisory experience. Linda specializes in consumer lending compliance audits, BSA audits, and ACH audits. She has an Associates’ Degree in General Studies/Business Administration.

 

Linda strives to establish a strong working relationship with our clients and feels it is important for the clients to know that MAi is part of the bank’s team. Linda is known for being fair, honest, and tenacious. Her goal is to do the best job she can for our clients.

Linda enjoys crocheting, reading, spending time with family and watching her Grandson play basketball.

Jordan Banuelos

Jordan started her banking career in 2016 while obtaining her BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Ethics from Mid America Christian University. Jordan has learned the key to success is hard work and dedication to the job and gaining knowledge through continuing education.

Jordan is a dog mom to Barry & Bowie. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

La Toya Bengs

La Toya has been in banking since 2012 which includes over a decade of audit experience. She earned her degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. Go Pokes!

La Toya exudes positive energy while doing quality work. During her free time, La Toya likes to spend time with her family and loves making people laugh and smile. She is also known for having a great memory.

Tina Knight

Tina started her banking career as a teller. She enjoys working with numbers and more importantly, the people. Working with clients, being able to connect with them, and hearing their personal stories, are why she loves working in the banking industry.

 

Over the years, she’s learned the key to success is hard work, and that every good work day starts with coffee! In her spare time, you can find Tina on the farm! She loves to spend time with her family, including her husband of 26 years, two children, and three grandchildren. When she finds the time, her passion is rescuing animals and volunteering at shelters to help animals get the care they need.

Amanda Byrd

Amanda has more than 15 years of banking experience. Her banking career began as a part-time teller while attending East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, and has grown into other positions. She has functioned as a Loan Operations Specialist, Teller Supervisor, Universal Banker and Loan Officer. Amanda enjoys being part of a company that invests in helping people and businesses grow, and building relationships with her clients.

 

Amanda obtained a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science from ECU in 2010, and she loves cooking for her immediate and extended family and considers herself an amateur chef. She also enjoys fishing, riding go-karts, camping and taking vacations at the beach with her family, including her husband of 5 years and two daughters. On Amanda's bucket list? Cage diving with great white sharks!

Jennifer Rhoads

Jennifer boasts an impressive 11-year tenure in the banking sector. Her journey began when she started as a teller and impressively climbed the ranks to become a Branch Manager. Additionally, her career includes a stint where she developed extensive expertise in both commercial and consumer loan processing. She takes great pride in not only addressing their financial needs but also in nurturing lasting relationships and finding tailored solutions to help them achieve their financial aspirations.

 

Away from her professional life, Jennifer cherishes spending quality time with her friends and family. Her personal interests are diverse and creative, ranging from baking, reading, and painting to the more hands-on activities of refurbishing, repurposing, and constructing furniture. An interesting fact about Jennifer is her large family of seven siblings and her long-held aspiration to obtain a pilot's license!

Casey Patten

Casey has more than 10 years of banking and internal audit experience. His career began with internal audit and has grown to include assisting and leading Director’s Exams, operational branch audits, Bank Secrecy Exams, and ACH Exams. Casey enjoys serving the needs of his clients and believes in the company’s moto of “bankers helping bankers”.

 

Casey obtained a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cameron University in 1996 and enjoys carrying on his family’s farming and ranching heritage in Western Oklahoma. He also enjoys playing golf, tennis, and going to sporting events with his family. On Casey’s bucket list? Attend the Master’s Golf Tournament!

Amanda Rhein

Amanda has six years in the banking industry. She started in Loan Operations and furthered her career as a Real Estate Loan Processor and Lending Compliance Specialist. Amanda enjoyed preparing loan documents and helping the customers behind the scenes have the best experience. She has completed certification in the OBA Compliance School in 2024. She hopes to further her education and obtain her CRCM certification.

 

In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys gardening and going to antique stores along with hiking when she gets the chance. When she’s not busy with her many activities, you can find her sitting on her patio with a good book!

Karin Julin

Office Manager/HR Administrator/IT Manager


With over 40 years’ experience her focus is on accounting, office management, human resources and IT Systems Administration. Karin worked in banking straight out of high school.

Karin thoroughly enjoys accounting, human resources and information technology. Karin is committed to her work because she is able to assist clients and co-workers to excel. Clients describe Karin as honest, trustworthy, and friendly. In her free time Karin enjoys riding horses, attending concerts, and spending time with her family.

Cindy Rodrigues

Cindy has over 10 years of banking experience. Her experience began as a teller, internal audit, wire transfer, and cash management. Her focus now is taking care of client needs and audit support.

Cindy provides excellent customer service! She takes care of all the administrative and marketing needs. During her previous employment, Cindy received many awards for ethics, quality control and customer service. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking road trips with her husband and playing bingo! She is a bingo caller at the local Moose Lodge.
