With over 300 years of combined experience in banking, our highly trained professionals have served over 100 financial institutions in Oklahoma, Kansas, and North Texas. Bob McCormack

CEO & President


Bob has been in banking since 1962 and has over 59 years of professional experience in the banking industry. During his 21 years with an independent community bank, he was involved in all areas of operations, audit, accounting, planning, data processing, investments, and asset/liability management.

Bob has attended Cameron University, the Graduate School of Banking, Intermediate School of Banking, Oklahoma School of Banking and taken various AIB courses. Bob enjoys working with community bankers and helping staff grow and develop their careers. In his free time, Bob enjoys fishing, trap shooting and playing music. He performs at local nursing homes, farmers markets and church events. Three things you didn’t know about Bob are that he has trained horses and bird dogs, fell in a well, and chained a school bus to a tree - there’s plenty of stories there - just ask Bob.

Sharon Smith

Executive Vice President


With 25 years in banking, Sharon excels in asset/liability management and strategic planning. She's passionate about problem-solving for clients and volunteering for causes like the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and community church events.

Sharon's life mantra: Always be kind, as everyone battles their own struggles. She cherishes time with family, singing, and reading. She believes success comes from hard work, reliability, kindness, and a bit of luck. Did you know? Sharon has an intriguing history – she is related to Mary Surratt who was the first woman executed by the US federal government for her role in President Lincoln's assassination.

Laurie Bethune, CRCM

Laurie has over 20 years of professional banking experience. She has a B.B.A. specializing in Finance from Cameron University. She has served as BSA and Compliance Officer and has experience within all areas of the bank.

Laurie enjoys sharing knowledge she’s received from working in many different areas of banking. She hopes to obtain certifications within many different areas of banking, help others to expand their areas of knowledge and continue to learn about the systems and process within the bank. She earned her degree in Business Administration at Cameron University. Laurie keeps busy when she's not working -- she serves as Secretary Clerk of the Central Elementary Athletic Association (CEAA) and sits on the Central High School Board. She likes to fish, ride ATVs, garden, and hang out with family.

Trish Harris, CCBIA

Senior Vice President


Trish has over 21 years of professional banking experience. She has a B.A. in Accounting and a MBA from Cameron University. Trish’s banking experience ranges from the Teller and Bookkeeping areas of the bank to participating in ALCO meetings and assisting with preparation of the bank’s annual budget. Her focus is in the areas of internal audits, compliance audits, and directors examinations.

She started working in banking at the age of 16 in 1996. Trish really enjoys helping bankers, getting to know our clients and being able to audit various areas of banking. She attended Cameron University and obtained a Bachelor of Accounting degree. She has also attended the Oklahoma Bankers Association Intermediate School. Trish has earned her MBA degree, and is working towards certification in internal and risk-based audit. She wants to contribute to the company by bringing innovative ideas to the table that will continue to support our clients to be successful in a world where the compliance burden is constantly increasing. Trish volunteers her time to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and was an officer of a beautification committee for her local community. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and doing anything outdoors. Something you may not know about Trish is she used to compete in beauty pageants. She attributes her success to a supportive and loving family and co-workers, her faith in God, self-discipline and never being afraid to fail.

Shannon Tate

Shannon has over 22 years of banking experience. Shannon’s expertise lies in Operations Regulations with an emphasis in Regulation E, Consumer Lending Laws and Regulations, and BSA. Her strength is mainly in compliance audits and has developed knowledge in other areas of banking.

Shannon can often detect a potential problem before it’s an issue and will go the extra mile to solve any problem. Shannon’s goal is to develop a strong working knowledge in all areas of banking to assist our clients and colleagues to the fullest. She loves learning new things, helping people, and is known for her attention to detail. Shannon volunteers at the local animal rescue, and enjoys singing in her church choir. In her free time, Shannon likes watching movies, reading, making craft projects, and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and pets. Some interesting things about Shannon -- she speaks Spanish, she knows every song lyric and loves to sing along, and she’s a Sooner fan who loves the Texas fight song. We forgive you Shannon!

Crystal Wright, CCBCO

Crystal has over 6 years banking experience. Her banking experience has been as an internal auditor and compliance associate. Crystal graduated from Cameron University with a BBA. She has also completed her ICBA Certification and earned the Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer designation.

Crystal enjoys building relationships with clients. She is excited to be providing services to bankers that allow them to focus on their jobs and communities. Crystal has worked as an internal auditor and as a compliance associate. Her diverse background makes her an asset to MAi and our clients! Crystal graduated from Cameron University with a BBA. When she's not helping bankers, Crystal loves spending time with her family, cheering for her sons at t-ball games, or relaxing by the pool.

Brandi Horn

Brandi has over 17 years banking experience. Brandi earned a Master’s in Science Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Brandi’s experience has been as a Lending Compliance Officer, Vice President and CRA Committee Chair.

Brandi earned a Master’s in Science Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She’s a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. Brandi received a full softball scholarship to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Her current career goals are to receive the CRCM designation and increase her knowledge of all banking compliance regulations. The key to Brandi’s success is practice, hard work and perseverance. Brandi has volunteered her time at the food bank and John 3:13 Feeding the Homeless Mission and is interested in helping at the animal shelter as well. During her time away from work she likes to spend time with her children, and especially likes watching her oldest daughter play softball. She enjoys going to the lake, watching movies, horseback riding, ATV riding and coaching softball. But don’t fly with Brandi, she’s terrified of flying!

Linda Weise

Linda has over 33 years of banking experience in operations, financial services, lending, and supervisory experience. Linda specializes in consumer lending compliance audits, BSA audits, and ACH audits. She has an Associates’ Degree in General Studies/Business Administration.

 

Linda strives to establish a strong working relationship with our clients and feels it is important for the clients to know that MAi is part of the bank’s team.  Linda is known for being fair, honest, and tenacious. Her goal is to do the best job she can for our clients.

Linda enjoys crocheting, reading, spending time with family and  watching her Grandson play basketball.

Jordan Banuelos

Jordan has over 5 years banking experience. She has a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Ethics from Mid America Christian University. Jordan started her banking career in 2016 with Endurance Federal Credit Union, where she held positions as FCU and MSR Supervisor.

Jordan is the oldest of four siblings and is a pet owner of two dogs Barry & Balto. When she can, she loves to donate her time to Kindred Community, spend time with family and friends, travel, golfing, and learning to play the piano.

La Toya Bengs

In banking since 2012, La Toya has worked for a large bank in internal audit.

La Toya enjoys building relationships with the people she works with. She’s an experienced auditor but really loves making people laugh and smile. She earned her degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting. She also has a great memory. La Toya exudes positive energy while doing quality work. During her free time, La Toya likes to spend time with her family and work out. They visit her in-laws farm from time to time. Can you believe she used to work on a farm picking pecans and plucking chickens?!

LaToya graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and did part of her studies at California State University San Bernardino while participating in the National Student Exchange Program.

Tina Knight

Tina has been in the banking industry since 2021. Tina started her banking career at First National Bank as a teller. Tina enjoys working with numbers and more importantly, the people. Working with clients, being able to connect with them, and hearing their personal stories, are why she loves working in the banking industry.

 

Tina is ready to learn as much as possible and looks forward to helping build the MAi family. Over the years, she’s learned the key to success is hard work, and that every good work day starts with coffee! In her spare time, you can find Tina, on the farm! She loves to spend time with her family, including her husband of 25 years, 3 children, and her grandson. When she finds the time, her passion is rescuing animals and volunteering at shelters to help animals get the care they need.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Tina has a pet squirrel? How awesome!

Amanda Byrd

Amanda has over 15 years of banking experience. Her banking experience started as a part time teller in college and has grown into other positions, Loan Operations Specialist, Teller Supervisor, Universal Banker and Loan Officer. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science from East Central University.

 

Amanda enjoys being a part of a company that helps people and businesses grow as a whole and building rapport with her clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family fishing, riding go-karts, camping and loves taking vacations to the beach. She also loves cooking for her family and considers herself an amateur chef! On Sundays, you can find Amanda with her family attending church where she is a Sunday school teacher. One interesting thing on Amanda’s bucket list is to go cage diving with great white sharks!

Jennifer Rhoads

Jennifer boasts an impressive 11-year tenure in the banking sector. Her journey began at Legacy Bank, where she started as a teller and impressively climbed the ranks to become a Branch Manager. Additionally, her career includes a stint at City National Bank, where she developed extensive expertise in both commercial and consumer loan processing.

 

Jennifer is known for her exceptional dedication to client service. She takes great pride in not only addressing their financial needs but also in nurturing lasting relationships and finding tailored solutions to help them achieve their financial aspirations.

Away from her professional life, Jennifer cherishes spending quality time with her children, grandson, boyfriend, and siblings. Her personal interests are diverse and creative, ranging from baking, reading, and painting to the more hands-on activities of refurbishing, repurposing, and constructing furniture. An interesting fact about Jennifer is her large family of seven siblings and her long-held aspiration to obtain a pilot's license!

Casey Patten

Casey embarked on a career in banking in 2001, accumulating over seven years of expertise, particularly in the realm of internal audit. His auditing experience extends to roles with the Oklahoma Credit Union League and the University of Oklahoma's Health and Science Center. Casey is passionate about fostering connections and aiding clients in improving their operational strategies. He takes pleasure in encountering new individuals, discovering shared interests and hobbies, and assisting them in refining their processes and procedures.

 

In his leisure time, Casey is an enthusiastic volunteer for the Special Olympics of Oklahoma and the Alzheimer’s Association. His hobbies include playing tennis and golf, supporting his children's sporting activities, and maintaining the family tradition of cattle farming.

A few lesser-known facts about Casey include his involvement in selling grass-fed beef at local farmers' markets and his participation in a mission trip to Nepal. He also harbors an ambition to learn motorcycle riding.

Casey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Cameron University.

Karin Julin

Office Manager/HR Administrator


Karin worked in a bank straight out of high school and then pursued a career in accounting. With over 40 years’ experience in banking and related fields her focus is on accounting, office management, human resources and IT Systems Administration.

Karin has a knack for accounting, human resources and business organization. Karin enjoys her work because she gets to help clients and co-workers do their best. She’s committed to great service. Since she has worked as an accountant and human resource manager in a variety of fields, we’re excited for what she will be able to accomplish at MAi! Clients describe Karin as honest, trustworthy, and friendly. In her free time Karin enjoys riding horses, attending concerts, and spending time with her family.

Cindy Rodrigues

Administrative Assistant


Cindy has over 10 years of banking experience. Her experience has been as a teller, internal audit, wire transfer, and cash management. Her focus now is taking care of client needs and audit support.

Cindy provides excellent customer service and takes care of all administrative and marketing needs.  While working at Halliburton, Cindy received many awards for ethics, quality control and customer service.  She loves to be involved in the community being a member of the Duncan Chamber of Commerce and the American Indian Chamber of Commerce through MAi.  During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking road trips with her husband and playing bingo!  She is a bingo caller at the local Moose Lodge on Thursday nights.
